Members of the TransLatin@ Coalition (TLC) are transgender Latina leaders who come together from all across the country, donating their time to organize and advocate for the issues and needs of Trans Latin@ community living in the United States.

The Trans Justice Funding Project is a community-led funding initiative founded in 2012 to support grassroots, trans justice groups run by and for trans people in the United States, including U.S. territories.

The Okra Project is a collective that seeks to address the global crisis faced by Black Trans people by bringing home cooked, healthy, and culturally specific meals and resources to Black Trans People wherever we can reach them.     

The Marsha P. Johnson Institute (MPJI) protects and defends the human rights of BLACK transgender people. We do this by organizing, advocating, creating an intentional community to heal, developing transformative leadership, and promoting our collective power.

Black Trans Femmes in the Arts Collective (BTFA) is a community-based arts organization that builds community and mobilizes resources to support Black trans femme artists (artists who were assigned male-at-birth and now identify somewhere underneath the femme umbrella).

Black and Pink was founded in 2005 and is a national prison abolitionist organization dedicated to abolishing the criminal punishment system and liberating LGBTQIA2S+ people and people living with HIV/AIDS who are affected by that system through advocacy, support, and organizing.  

Trans Women of Color Collective (TWOCC) seeks to shift the narrative of surviving to thriving in our communities. They strive to build economic empowerment and global networks that connect rural communities with suburban enclaves, inner city youth with elders, donors with Black trans entrepreneurs, healers with those seeking to be whole and collaborators with agitators.

Trans Lifeline is a grassroots hotline and microgrants 501(c)(3) non-profit organization offering direct emotional and financial support to trans people in crisis – for the trans community, by the trans community.

Established in 2011, the National Black Trans Advocacy Coalition (BTAC) is the only social justice organization led by black trans people to collectively address the inequities faced in the black transgender human experience.

The FOLX Health HRT Care Fund, in partnership with BTAC, offers no-cost grants to support transgender, non-binary, intersex, and other gender expansive people in accessing hormone replacement therapy care through FOLX, with 80% of grants reserved for BIPOC.

Sex Workers Outreach Project is a national social justice network dedicated to the fundamental human rights of people involved in the sex trade and their communities, focusing on ending violence and stigma through education and advocacy.

LGBTQ Freedom Fund posts bail to secure the safety and liberty of individuals in U.S. jails and immigration facilities.

National Queer and Trans Therapists of Color Network (NQTTCN) is a healing justice organization committed to transforming mental health for queer and trans people of color (QTPoC).

The Knights & Orchids Society (TKO) strives to build the power of the TLGB community for African Americans throughout rural areas in Alabama and across the south, to obtain our dream of justice and equality through group economics, education, leadership development, and organizing cultural work.

inTRANSitive is a Trans migrant led organization focusing on the intersections of Trans identities to address systematic oppression that disproportionally harms Trans people who live at the intersections of Black, Indigenous and people of color identities. 

Founded and led by Trans and gender nonconforming people and our allies, House of GG creates safe and transformative spaces where members of our community can heal—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually—from the trauma arising from generations of transphobia, racism, sexism, poverty, ableism and violence, and nurture them into tomorrow’s leaders. 

Southern Fried Queer Pride (SFQP) is an Atlanta-based non-profit organization empowering Black queer and QTPOC centered communities in the South through the arts.

FOR OUR SIBS is a Black trans-led collective based here in Atlanta, GA, that provides mutual aid to Black Trans, Non-Binary, Gender Non-Conforming, Two-Head, 2S, and Intersex folks through the work of community care and the arts (as a form of liberation). 

The Trans Housing Coalition (THC) is a Trans-led and founded organization that began as a photography and grassroots crowdfunding project (The Homeless Black Trans Women Fund) aimed at getting chronically homeless Black Trans women off the streets. 

Solutions Not Punishment Collaborative is a Black trans and queer led organization that builds safety within our community, investing in our collective embodied leadership, and building political power.

House of Tulip is a nonprofit collective creating housing solutions for TGNC people in Louisiana.

META Center Inc. is an Akron-based 501(3) organization that creates regular programming for transgender and gender non-conforming youth ages 7-19.

Masjid al-Rabia is a women-centered, BIPOC-led, and LGBTQ+ affirming Islamic community center in Chicago, IL with a mission to provide spiritual support for marginalized Muslims with healing justice practices in mind.

Brave Space Alliance is the first Black-led, trans-led LGBTQ Center located on the South Side of Chicago, dedicated to creating and providing affirming, culturally competent, for-us by-us resources, programming, and services for LGBTQ individuals on the South and West sides of the city.

Founded by three black trans women in 2017 as Compton’s Transgender Cultural District, The Transgender District is the first legally recognized transgender district in the world.

ProjectQ Community Center is a non-profit organization that provides safe space for LGBTQIA+ youth. 

Trans Connections is an HIV prevention program for trans people of color, ages 18-29. We offer incentivized testing, linkage to care for those who are newly or previously diagnosed with HIV, fun events, and more!

The LA LGBT Center's Transgender Economic Empowerment Project (TEEP) offers a wide range of services to help gender-diverse people reach economic stability, including job readiness, career development services, and connection with inclusive employers. 

TGI Justice Project is a group of transgender, gender variant and intersex people–inside and outside of California prisons, jails and detention centers–creating a united family in the struggle for survival and freedom.

Lavender Rights Project elevates the power, autonomy, and leadership of the Black intersex & gender diverse community through intersectional legal and social services. We utilize the law as an organizing principle to affirm our civil rights and self-determination. 

The Young Artist Program is an arts after school program centering high school aged BIPOC lgbtq+ youth and accomplices in Philly.

DCATS (DC Area Transmasculine Society) is a trans-led nonprofit organization that serves to advance the lives of transmasculine folx by providing resources that help overcome the social, economic, and health-related barriers to living authentically.

Trans Maryland aims to promote trans wellness throughout Maryland by increasing access to affirming services and resources, while nurturing young trans leadership. By trans folks, for trans folks. 

FIERCE is a membership-based organization building the leadership and power of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) youth of color in New York City. 

The Heavenly Angel Fund Project  helps to get Black Trans women get tested for COVID-19 and provides them with care packages including important items like handmade masks.

For The Gworls raises money to assist w/ BLACK TRANSGENDER folks’ rent & gender affirmative surgeries.

The Black Trans Travel Fund helps cover monetary expenses for Black transgender women in New York and New Jersey states in need of money for transportation, so they can have access to their self-determined safest transportation options, were they feel least likely to experience verbal harassment or physical harm.

In 2015 Joshua Allen and CeCe McDonald came together to form the Black Excellence Collective. A grassroots organizing collective for and by Black trans/queer youth to organize for our collective liberation using art, direct action & political education.

The Ali Forney Center protects LGBTQ youths from the harms of homelessness and empower them with the tools needed to live independently. 

The Audre Lorde Project is a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Two Spirit, Trans and Gender Non Conforming People of Color center for community organizing, focusing on the New York City area. Through mobilization, education and capacity-building, The Audre Lorde Project works for community wellness and progressive social and economic justice.

The Sylvia Rivera Law Project works to guarantee that all people are free to self-determine gender identity and expression, regardless of income or race, and without facing harassment, discrimination or violence.

Femme Defense Fund distributes safety kits full of self-defense tools to women and femmes, especially prioritizing Black trans women and trans femmes, in NYC and send funds to people across the nation to purchase their own self-defense materials.

G.L.I.T.S. approaches the health and rights crises faced by transgender sex workers holistically using harm reduction, human rights principles, economic and social justice, along with a commitment to empowerment and pride in finding solutions from our own community.

The Anti-Violence Project (AVP) empowers lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and HIV-affected communities and allies to end all forms of violence through organizing and education, and supports survivors through counseling and advocacy.

Activation Residency offers respite experiences for Black and brown trans & queer activists, organizers & artists on the front lines fighting from bed, the streets & everywhere else.

The New York Transgender Advocacy Group is a Trans-led organization. Our mission is to advocate for more inclusive gender-based policies that benefit Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming/Non-Binary (TGNCNB) individuals through building community leaders, educating practitioners, and influencing policy makers. 

Trans Asylum Seekers Support Network, or TASSN, is a radical anarchist mutual aid collective providing direct aid to queer and trans asylum seekers.

Black LGBTQIA+ Migrant Project (BLMP) envisions a world where no one is forced to give up their homeland, where all Black LGBTQIA+ people are free and liberated. They build and center the power of Black LGBTQIA+ migrants to ensure the liberation of all Black people through community-building, political education, creating access to direct services, and organizing across borders. 

OutRight Action International fights for the human rights for LGBTIQ people everywhere. OutRight works at the international, regional and national levels to research, document, defend, and advance human rights for LGBTIQ people around the world.

LesMigraS is engaged in antidiscrimination and antiviolence work, offers counselling and a space for self-empowerment for LGBTIQ people.
